Given the growing problem of cybercrime and hybrid warfare, it is of great importance to be aware of the potential consequences of cyber incidents. Only by doing so can impending negative impacts be mitigated to the best extent possible. Christopher Drolz, a legal intern, explains in his article in the latest issue of GRC the factual and data protection-related consequences of a cyber incident, as well as possible preventive measures.
